The Climate 10x Accelerator program is part of the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) a federally funded program awarded to the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Newcastle (UoN). Climate 10x is designed to boost R&D and drive commercialisation outcomes that will help Australia and the world transition to sustainable recycling and clean energy solutions and systems.

Climate 10x is specifically focused on fast-tracking the business growth of climate tech start-ups whose innovation has a significant impact on emissions reduction or improves the resilience and adaptability of existing infrastructure to allow for the faster transition to renewable energy sources.

Climate 10x is a partner with Virescent Ventures a specialist climate technology fund born out of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation that invests into startups accepted into the program. Virescent bring a depth of experience and understanding of what it means to build a climate tech company and are committed to scaling founders technologies and businesses that help achieve zero emissions and beyond.

Through UNSW Founders TRaCE and Virescent Climate 10x is backed by a number of climate experts industry research & capital partners – who can provide the relevant networks knowledge and infrastructure to help build and scale a deep-tech company in a developing industry.

Applications for 2023 are open until 29 May for August 2 start.
