Australian startups and early-stage hydrogen innovators have until Tuesday 5 August to apply for a free two-day workshop in Sydney that could help progress their technology from concept to commercialisation.
The Hydrogen Elevate program, led by Cicada Innovations and delivered through the Australian Hydrogen Council (AHC), runs from 26–27 August. It’s part of the AusHETS initiative, supported by the Department of Industry, Science and Resources’ Industry Growth Program.
The workshop is designed for early-career founders, SMEs and deep tech startups working on hydrogen solutions—from production and storage to transport and industrial use. Participants will receive tailored support to improve their market readiness, clarify their value proposition, and better understand where they fit in the hydrogen supply chain.
The event includes a preparatory online module and in-person sessions with commercialisation specialists, mentors, and fellow founders. Attendees will also hear from guest speakers including Dr Jehan Kanga (Rux Energy) and Prachi Agrawal (Hysata), both recognised for their work in hydrogen innovation.
Expressions of interest can be submitted online, with eligibility based on criteria under the Industry Growth Program. Those not yet approved under the program can still apply, while updating the organisers on their IGP application status.
