The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) continues to support Australian exporters with the Go Global Export Academy, sharing practical insights and expert advice. In December, its program turns to energy and resources, with three webinars that look at how Australian businesses can engage with the UK’s decarbonisation plans, join Team Australia at the World Hydrogen Summit 2026, and tap into the Netherlands’ role as a key entry point to Europe.
The Export Academy is part of Austrade’s broader Go Global Toolkit, a central resource that helps businesses at every stage of their export journey. The toolkit includes export guides, information on laws and regulations in target markets, and tools to assess export readiness. It also connects businesses with Austrade advisers in Australia and overseas who help navigate local markets, develop export strategies, and identify potential partners.
The Go Global Export Academy delivers this support through free online sessions designed to build exporters’ knowledge and confidence. The program includes export essentials, sector insights, and advanced masterclasses. Businesses can join live sessions or watch recordings at their convenience by creating a free account through Austrade’s online portal.
Two upcoming sessions in December are particularly relevant for the energy and resources sector.
- On 9 December 2025, the session The UK’s energy transition and net zero commitments will explore the country’s progress and future direction in decarbonising the energy, industrial, and built-environment sectors.
- On 11 December 2025, The Netherlands: Europe’s green gateway for exporters will examine how Australian advanced technology and agtech businesses can use the Netherlands as a base for entering the wider European market.
Austrade’s overseas trade specialists will present both sessions, drawing on their detailed market knowledge and established relationships with industry and government. Their aim is to help Australian exporters understand emerging opportunities in renewable energy, clean technology, and resource innovation.
Through its broader trade and export programs, Austrade works to help businesses expand in new markets, supported by initiatives such as export market development grants and agricultural expansion programs. It also shares commercial insights and market analysis to inform both exporters and government policy.
The Go Global Export Academy builds on this foundation by translating Austrade’s market intelligence into practical guidance for businesses looking to enter or grow in overseas markets. Registration for all Export Academy sessions, including the upcoming UK and Netherlands webinars, is free through Austrade’s website here.
