Healthy Buildings International is composed of a dynamic and motivated team of professionals who hold a broad set of skills and experience in occupational health & safety, occupational hygiene, environmental science and engineering. Our team holds specialist qualifications including Greenstar Professional, NABERs Assessors, Cooling Tower Risk auditors, Accredited Asbestos Assessors, Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professionals as well as RABQSA auditing qualifications.
Our environmental management expertise focuses on compliance with all environmental and planning aspects typically associated with major infrastructure construction. We can provide support to your teams during all stages of project delivery:
§ Tender development: Provision of key project team resources for tender phase, experienced in environmental design review, environmental risk management, environment and planning approval assessments, design review and costing of these aspects.
§ Project establishment to construction approval: Development of management systems, plans and monitoring programs, licensing, aspect specific environmental specialist and key sub-contractors, building of your delivery teams and regulatory stakeholder and community engagement
§ Construction delivery phase. Oversight of all aspects of management of environment, sustainability approvals and community teams and /or prevision of environment and sustainability team members
§ Operational oversight, including development and implementation of operational systems
Compliance and review. Provision of Independent Environmental Representatives, Independent Auditors (including Post Approval Requirements Auditors), Lead Management Systems Auditors (ISO 14001, 9001 and Safety) and Certified Risk Managers (ISO 13000).
Our team members hold specialist training and certification for both built and ambient environments.
We routinely conduct assessments in indoor air, water, light and sound, legionella risk auditing, and hazardous materials management including asbestos.
In addition to Licenced Asbestos Assessors, we are accredited service providers for Cooling Tower Risk Assessments, WELL Performance Testing, NABERs, Greenstar, Infrastructure Sustainability (ISAP), and Exemplar Global Certified for Environment and Safety Management System Auditing.
