The Ammonia Energy Association’s APAC conference heads to Brisbane in 2026.
In the wake of the disappointing international and multilateral outcomes of 2025, the impetus for establishing strong markets for ammonia energy has been taken up by national, regional, and individual players. While last year represents a missed opportunity to accelerate global progress in a harmonized fashion, significant regional progress is being made – particularly across the APAC region.
Ammonia Energy APAC 2026 will showcase the key organizations making concrete progress over the last twelve months. Having weathered the brunt of global headwinds, first-movers are forging ahead and de- risking complete supply chains for low-emission ammonia, focused on both local and international markets. This international angle will be critical – due to the delays elsewhere, ammonia energy business models developed in Asia and APAC will come to define early markets, regulations, and adoption.
As well as two days of conference sessions, the 2026 event will visit CSIRO’s Queensland Centre for Advanced Technologies (QCAT), one of Australia’s premier industrial research precincts. The conference is open to AEA Member organisations, prospective Members, invited speakers, and the wider APAC hydrogen & ammonia community.
