Dr Julie Wheway is the Assistant Director for Public Education at IP Australia, the Australian Government agency responsible for administering intellectual property law in Australia.

With significant experience and a network across research, innovation and many industry sectors, Julie has a deep understanding of Australia’s R&D sector.

Julie held previous roles at AusIndustry, as a commercialisation specialist, as well as a 15-year academic career in medical research.
